Dear Ex-Students and friends,
The Critter Shack of Menard, Texas, our animal rescue organization, is having a benefit June 22, 2008 from 12-4:00 pm at the American Legion Hall.
We are having a local band, silent auction, and BBQ. Connie and Curtis Weant are organizing the event.
Guest speaker (short!) is Dr. Joe King from Junction Texas who has written a book, Animals, God's Faithful Servants. His website kingcarepetcenter.com.

You will see the dogs available for adoption, and the building and lot on Mesquite Street we are remodeling to house the pets, and some of the members.
Menard has no place for its unwanted abandoned pets.
We have an outstanding debt on the building and lot and we depend on the good citizens of Menard, our primary vet, Dr. Richard Cordes, and our members for donations to keep this organization going. We are tax exempt.
