To all my brothers and sisters in the LORD,
What a day we are living in right now, to share with you some "GOOD NEWS" of what has happened in Freer, TX.
I am just coming in from a 3 day revival that we had at our church. And what a blessing it has been.
For those of you who know what our church used to be like with just a small (5-10) attendees in a process of fixing church building, you would not know that you entered the same place today.
The church has been given a face lift in more ways than one. The outward appearance of the building has been renovated with new painted walls, shining wood floors, clean yard, electrical working, all with the help of some unsung saints of GOD. Our church was given donations of time, laborers, and finances to assist in keeping the church doors opened, and giving it a new look.
The true testimony is in the people who have been rejuvinated. Their faces were lifted and family was home. It has been something I have only heard about but now my eyes have seen and I am praising the LORD still.
Sunday services started with the Superintendant of the Assemblies of God ministering to about 30 individuals. I praised the LORD because like I said there were usually 5-10 attendees. Then Sunday night services were about 50 fired up people of GOD who praised their hearts out. Monday was a special blessing for me in that some that I have invited to church for all these years, were there that night and 69 were in attendance. But today I asked the LORD about this Revival and he reminded me about Reunion . I asked the LORD to double the attendance and HE DID. 126 people of GOD who went to church on a Tuesday evening brought my heart even more joy.
Sure this may be because of a "Revival" but for whatever reason, GOD HAS OPENED THE FLOODGATES OF HEAVEN and SHOWERED HIS BLESSING UPON US in FREER, TX. May this day never be forgotten, but built upon trusting the LORD no matter what and receiving the outpouring HE has for all those that will believe.
