The First Aid Squad performs a very vitale function in this town and are frequently unappreciated until they are needed. I, for one do not mind them being out of town when on "company" business but if this was personal business then they were in the wrong.
Who pays for the gas and the wear and tear on the ambulance for thier little side trip ? Who would be held accountable financially if they were involved in an accident while taking care of personal business ?
.......THE TAXPAYERS FOOT THIS BILL....
Personal business needs to be done on personal time and without using First Aid Squad vehicles.

I expect the manager of the squad to deal with this issue in a timely manner and he/she should explain to the taxpayers what has been done to keep this type of thing from ever happening again.

Since this problem has been addressed in this forum the manager should respond here to explain his actions or lack thereof.
