Thanks for yielding to me in the crosswalk!

I just wanted to say "THANK YOU" to the council member who failed to yield to the pedestrian (yes...me) that was trying to cross Main Street earlier today!

No need to mention names - you know who you are! Great to see you show your ignorance, stupidity or perhaps arrogance (in holding personal feelings from years ago) influence your sound judgement! Well done!

Glad to see you think NJ law (39:4-36) doesn't apply to you; perhaps you don't care or once again proved how self centred you really are!

You of all people should be setting the example!

I would however now like to take a moment now and actually offer my sincere thank-you to the "other driver" (who was headed in the opposite direction)! Thank you for giving up a few seconds of your travel time this afternoon and letting me get across Main Street.

I know you saw our great council member too, as you shook you head in amazement! Gee I sure hope you vote in town, and tell this story to your friends too! Gotta love small towns!
