There are suppose to be meetings set for discussion, but I have not heard of any prior notice being given so the public can attend. The firehouse is suppose to be a part of the new development in Ford Avenue. It was part of the initial plan that was submitted to the boro. If anything was done correctly, it would still be something our fireman could count on. It might be still part of Ford Avenue. I did not hear that the builder was not going to build it, then the plans they are working on now could be the second firehouse. I would hope the council would be straight with the residents and do it right rather than what has happened in the past. You know they are the ones who screwed up COAH, and the residents will pay dearly for that. The builders agreement for Ford Avenue is being redone because the council set a resolution to pay the developers cost and the old builders agreement states the developer was to pay. It seems it would be unlawful for a council to vote on spending money when a contract states the developer is to pay the bill. A month later the builders agreement was not valid. Doesn't that make you wonder?
