JAMESBURG TOWN-WIDE YARD SALE SCHEDULED
Jamesburg residents don’t throw away those “treasures” you find while cleaning your closets, basements and garages. Gather all that stuff and sell it at Jamesburg’s Annual Spring Town-wide Yard Sale, scheduled for Saturday, May 17, 2008. Co-sponsored by the Borough of Jamesburg and the Jamesburg Historical Association, the sale is scheduled to run between 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. (rain or shine). Residents have the option of selling in their own yards or renting table space (you provide the table/chairs) at the Jamesburg Presbyterian Church parking lot, East Church St. and Gatzmer Ave. Non-residents are invited to participate, but must rent table space at the Church. The fee is $10 per space.
Jamesburg residents may register their home addresses for listing on the Yard Sale flyer/map that will be available throughout the town on Friday, May 16th. Residents may register by e-mail at jhayardsale@aol.com or by calling 732-521-2040 and leaving a name and return telephone number. Registration must be received no later than Wednesday, May 14th to be listed. There is no fee to register a sale address.
Residents and non-residents wishing to rent table space (tables and chairs not provided) may download the rental form at www.jamesburg.net or by calling 732-521-2040, leaving a name and return telephone number. Your check (made payable to JHA) must accompany your rental form. Payment must be received by Friday, May 16th. Payment and rentals will not be accepted in sale day. The rental fee will benefit the programs of the Presbyterian Church of Jamesburg. This is a rain/shine event. Rental fees are non-refundable.
