Although the Village may have grown I doubt that is the reason for the change in plowing this year. In the past when there was a problem with a water main, snowy or icy streets, mini-tornado damage or whatever, Denny and Jim never hesitated to go into dirty, muddy, ,dangerous places in cold and snowy or hot and muggy weather to fix the problem. And something like adding a few new roads to the work load would not change their work ethic.
My concern is that Denny is no longer running that department the way he knows how to with all his experience and expertise. And then the question becomes if Denny Noegal is not running things; who is? And does that have anything to do with the changes in the plowing standards?
Finally, just in case someone does not understand my inquiry let me make myself very clear: My question about plowing stems in part because of what seems to be a change in the way the water/street, ect. department has been managed over the years.
To Denny and Jim - if you need a cup of coffee or something, you will always be welcome at our house. We understand and appreciate the work you both do! And, of course, you know where we live!
Thank you!
