School board Member, Leah Clark, was on that task force. I believe they(the drug task force committee members) were assigned to set the policy to present to the board. Ask her what the responsibilty of that task force was and if this exact question was brought up at that time. I believe you will find out that it was questioned during those task force meetings.
Maybe someone should contact some of the school board members about this concern, ESPECIALLY , the new board members--so they know the concerns and think this through.
Maybe they should consider the new drug test where they swab your mouth! You don't have to go in a stall with them. Maybe the school board isn't aware there is a drug test like that. I personally would rather have my child swabbed than watched in the stall!
