Since when has it become a boardmembers job to educate the student? The teachers are responsible to ensure the student is learning. The adminstrators are responsible for hiring the teachers. The board only concurs with the recomendation of the hiring principal. Does the board ever question the administrators reason for hiring? The boards job is to run "the business" not make sure that each student is learning. That is the job of the teachers and administration. Now who is really failing here?
